The summer travel season is here! Here are some scenic routes you can take to dodge the traffic.

Did you know? When interstates in Tennessee were designed, the state had a population of 3 million people. Today, the population hovers over 7 million. That’s more than double the pressure on our interstates, which are vital to the flow of our regional economy.

In collaboration with the Tennessee Infrastructure Alliance we’re sharing 5 scenic routes that can help people navigate the Greater Chattanooga region without utilizing an interstate.

These routes will help you avoid the traffic and see some of the beautiful natural treasures, interesting historic landmarks, and fantastic tourist attractions in the tri-state.
