Shape the Region's Next Data Tool

Good decisions start with good information, and across the tri-state region, community leaders rely on data every day to guide local planning, economic growth, and long-term resilience. Thrive is developing a new resource to support that work, and we’re inviting residents and practitioners to help shape it from the start.

The Resource Hub is a public data platform designed to make regional information easier to find, understand, and put into practice. Built in collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and Studio 2263, and supported by the Appalachian Regional Commission, the Hub will bring together dynamic dashboards, GIS StoryMaps, and curated datasets on the environmental, infrastructure, and cultural assets that influence the region’s future.

To make this tool as useful as possible, Thrive is gathering input from those who use data in planning, community development, policy, education, and local projects. The engagement survey asks about current data practices, gaps, and the types of features that would help people make informed decisions with more confidence.

Your input can guide how the Resource Hub takes shape. If you live or work in the tri-state, greater Chattanooga region, we invite you to share your experience and help ensure this platform meets real needs across the region.
