Natural Treasures Alliance Fall Meeting

Friday, November 14
11:00 AM-3:00 PM Central Time
Join the fall meeting of Thrive’s Natural Treasures Alliance at the Appalachian Conservation Institute, along the Little Sequatchie River, where we will explore protecting forested land using restorative land management practices which include prescribed fire burns, wetland restoration, and saving threatened species such as the hemlock. You will hear from partners whose on-the-ground work protects forested land along the Cumberland Plateau, one of the seven identified habitat anchors in our tri-state region as well as learn about the unique biodiversity that exists in the Cumberland Plateau from Dr. Kristen Cecala, Professor of Biology at Sewanee, the University of the South.
After the meeting, the Appalachian Conservation Institute team will lead a guided hike to Tate's Point.
Space at this meeting is limited— please register if you plan to attend.
