Join us for a Virtual Lunch & Learn to learn more about the Resilient Communities program and how to submit a strong application for the 2026 cohort.
This initiative, powered by Thrive Regional Partnership and the Open Space Institute, helps residents across the tri-state region design local strategies that strengthen resilience against extreme weather events such as flooding and heat waves.
Selected community teams receive professional guidance, facilitation, and technical assistance to:
- Assess local vulnerabilities
- Identify priorities
- Develop nature-based solutions that build on community expertise and assets
Who should apply?
Organizations that bring people together—such as nonprofits, faith-based groups, libraries, and neighborhood associations—are encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants must be based in the 16-county greater Chattanooga region.
