Transportation Collaborative

An unprecedented focus group that generation progressive resolutions to long-term mobility challenges.

From 2017-2018, Thrive’s Transportation Collaborative employed a diversified approach to transportation planning, leveraging cross-sector perspectives to build an integrated model that encompasses freight, workforce, and broadband connectivity.

The Transportation Collaborative incubated tactics to:

  • Promote safe and efficient movement of people, freight, and data within and through the tri-state region

  • Enable regional coordination resulting in the lessening of congestion, enhancement of productivity, quality of life, and the protection of the region’s natural assets

Through targeted workshop sessions and an emphasis on data, the Transportation Collaboration laid the groundwork for creative, nontraditional mobility planning and development.

There is great value in the regional approach that Thrive has taken. It is a more complete way to address and solve regional challenges.
